Language certificate check

Enter the first name, surname and number shown on the certificate. You will see whether it is in Alba's register, what level it records and when it was issued.

For universities and employers

The check is public and free, and no registration is needed. It confirms that the certificate is in Alba's register and shows its details. The certificate file itself is not provided.

What the register covers

Certificates from Alba language exams issued since January 2026. We check documents from earlier years on request.

Certificate details

The number is printed in the bottom right corner of the certificate. It has nine characters with no spaces, for example A12BC5B73.

The check runs in your browser. Nothing you enter in the form is sent anywhere or stored.

What the certificate confirms

That the holder passed an Alba language exam, and their level on the CEFR scale. We attach it to university applications.
